Originally from Finland, Carmen Electro grew up on the dancefloors of London and Berlin, both of which deeply shaped her sound as an artist and informed the raw energy and sense of connection she brings to every DJ set. While her record collection spans many genres, it’s techno that speaks to her most in a club setting — a sound that lets her tap into something primal and invite the audience to do the same.

Her sets pay tribute to multiple decades of techno and dance music as a whole, moving between hypnotic, tribal, and driving cuts designed to ignite that moment where body and soul move as one. Vinyl isn’t just a format for Carmen; it’s a defining passion that has shaped her artistic and personal path, and the most natural medium for sharing unfiltered, deep emotion.

Expanding her vision of underground sound and community, Carmen recently launched her own vinyl label, KUJE Records, dedicated to showcasing raw talent in the realm of driving club techno. In 2025, her event series Rhythm Rituals saw its first two club nights, and she also marked a personal milestone with the release of her debut track on the Berlin-based label SEVEN, further solidifying her presence in the scene she calls home.
